Now that the 3-day holiday is over, everyone's buzzing back to their typical, daily routines. The weekend has been so refreshing for the most of us living in the UAE, because of Islamic New Year, which of course is a good thing because that meant free days for everyone! People got the much needed time to relax, and to just take a break from their busy Dubai lives. I don't know about you, but I'm grateful that I got the chance to spend those three free days with Jesus.
Before you continue, I just wanna give you all a friendly warning: This is a long post. I don't usually write this much, but since what I'm writing about was a three-day event, a lot of things happened, which I want to share with you guys! You may now continue!

With only a couple more months (or weeks, hopefully) left, the chilly season would again reveal itself. Winter is undoubtedly fast- approaching. Oh what a joy, and like almost everyone else living here in the sandbox a.k.a. the UAE, I can't wait! I can't wait until it gets cold, and I mean cold, to the point when I can literally see my breath. I can't wait until I get to roam the streets wearing at least three layers of clothing. I can't wait for the rain and thunderstorms, and I can't wait until my family and I can actually get in the car (and not die due to extreme heat) after leaving it out in the sun for an hour. |
